Elder care is a popular topic and can become an agonizing debate among loved ones who want to find the best care possible for their aging parents. Many seniors want to stay in their home as long as possible, but for some it simply isn't possible - whether it be for financial or health reasons, etc.

In 2007, elder care was the most-complained about category among Angie's List members, adding to the complexity of the situation. We have a great piece in the Sun Times today discussing how two homeowners in Chicago have been able to accommodate their parents' request to age in place.

Angie's List also offers an 'Add a City' feature so members caring for elder loved ones long distance can research service companies on their behalf.
