Reading through blogs makes it easy for me to keep track of interesting renovations, renovation/home improvement trends, great ideas and useful hints. (And every now and then I'll find a great post where the author mentions they found their builder/plumber/landscaper/contractor on the List--I can't say I don't love finding those!)

If you come across a blog you think I'd be interested in, please let me know. I'll periodically post some blogs that have interesting info for you all to read, too.

Not too long ago I asked my readers if they blogged. I got a few replies, and, lo and behold, the Greenwood Family Blog led to some great pictures of a recent renovation (they're Angie's List home renovation inspiration-worthy). I love the photo slideshows--they really emphasize how much has changed. (Also: Nice work on the tub! The "before" was pretty scary.)

For a great account of the trials, tribulations and triumphs of new homeowners, check out Happy Bungalow. It's written by Angie's List members Michael and Heather in Chicago. They've had a few nice List shout-outs because of some great service they've received. Most recently they found a great chimney repair company on angieslist.com. They're on a self-professed "posting slackage" right now, but I hope to see more from them soon. There's an ongoing saga with their sump pump that I'd like to see meet a quick end.
