Second Patrick's comment on electric mowers being great for small yards. I've been using an electric mower for years now. All I needed to do was buy a long extension cord -- no muss, no fuss, no fooling around with gasoline and oil. It's a lot quieter than my neighbor's gas mower and needs virtually no upkeep.

I bought a toro elect start and pull 9 years ago. Ive never changed the oil as it doesnt burn any. Ive never changed the plug Only sharpened the blade maybe 3 times. I store it in my shed and use it weekly almost year round. My father had one like mine for 25 years never did a thing to it. The frame rusted out and the moter still worked. lol

Last year I bought a CORDLESS ELECTRIC mower for my smaller in-city yard. I LOVE it. No oil or gasoline to buy, no tune-ups, and no PULLING and PULLING a starter cord when your machine decides to act up. The 60V Remington mower starts with the turn of a switch and does my complete yard......quietly. And this model, unlike others, can also be used with a cord if you need extra power, or forgot to charge the battery (or when an older battery gets weak).
