The Wall Street Journal did a great piece on
how I built Angie's List last week, and one of my sound bytes is getting
extra attention.
I was just 22 when i started going door to door signing up members in Columbus, Ohio but the customer image of me was very different. Most thought I was a stay at home mom in my 40s!
Today, one of the best parts of my job as CMO is working with all of the young talent we recruit at Angie's List. I've seen amazing insight from very young employees, and I'm reminded on a daily basis that age is just a number. If you present yourself maturely and communicate ideas effectively, very big things can happen.
