So if the leaves fall on your property from a neighbor's tree - whose responsibility is it to rake them up?

That question got a lot of passionate responses around the office this morning and it's also turned into a fun debate on our Angie's List Facebook page.

In many parts of the country, leaf raking can easily take up an entire weekend or more so extra leaves from neighboring trees can really add to the chore. So much so that many Angie's List members choose to hire a lawn service professional to do the raking for them.

Visit our Facebook page and tell us your take....

Dr. Kevin Pho has a great column today in USA Today about the current landscape of online doctor ratings. There's a lot of players in this space right now, but Angie's List is unique because we don't allow anonymous ratings. That's a really important distinction when you're weighing a health care choice for you and your family.

Angie's List collects more than 10,000 new doctor reviews every month and members are doing more and more health searches on our site every week. If you haven't looked for a doctor on Angie's List or checked the rating of your current doctor yet, I encourage you to do so.

We're already hearing from Angie's List members who's homes were affected by today's storms that hit St. Louis, Indianapolis, Nashville, Cincinnati and other areas of the Midwest.

Roof damage caused by downed tree limbs and power lines is the biggest issue we're hearing about, but members have also told us about damage to windows and cars. If your home or property was affected, take a second to read our tips on how to avoid shady contractors.

Everyone is always in a rush to get repairs done in the wake of these big storms, and dishonest contractors are all too happy to take advantage of that. Hire smart and let us know if we can help!

The EPA and the National Air Duct Cleaners Association – which represents more than 1,000 cleaning companies nationwide – do agree that there's some value in the work.

The Wall Street Journal did a great piece on how I built Angie's List last week, and one of my sound bytes is getting extra attention.

I was just 22 when i started going door to door signing up members in Columbus, Ohio but the customer image of me was very different. Most thought I was a stay at home mom in my 40s!

Today, one of the best parts of my job as CMO is working with all of the young talent we recruit at Angie's List. I've seen amazing insight from very young employees, and I'm reminded on a daily basis that age is just a number. If you present yourself maturely and communicate ideas effectively, very big things can happen.
